Why Zwei?

I have a soft spot for villains, and knowing more about the character, she's certainly one that had to be on my to-do list!

How'd you do it?

Perhaps the easiest costume I've made up to this point. I discovered that making capes are a BLAST! I used a McCalls cape pattern and altered it slightly to add the hood and top fringe part. I found a heave deep red fabric that was perfect for the flow and feel I wanted to achieve with this costume. I also found a unique shimmery fabric to line the inside with.

This was probably my first detailed costume-piece costume. I had to figure out how to make the clip for her hair, which ended up being a floral tube, some beads, Crayola™ Model Magic™ and clear elastic string.

After thoughts?

I enjoy wearing this costume. It's warm and cozy, so perfect for a winter con, but also works well in the summer. I'd love to throw together a group with all of this character's partners. And now that I have the experience, I could probably make the capes to the others with ease.
